As a Japanese government-related organization mandated to promote Japanese exports abroad, the Japan Trade Centre was turned into the ブラック クイーン ブラック ジャックernal Trade Organization (JETRO) on July 25, 1958.
Today, JETRO's core mandate includes promoting foreign direct investment into Japan with a focus on new innovation. JETRO also aims to generate new innovation through partnerships between leading Japanese firms and Canadian start-ups.
Canada’s startup ecosystem is currently ranked 3rd in the world according to "Ranked: World’s Most Startup-Friendly Countries, 2024" announced by CEOWORLD magazine, which assess a country’s competitiveness and capabilities in a scientific and technical-focused economy annually.
Canada might be called a "Friendly” Silicon Valley since Canada has a less aggressive business culture than the US and an open immigration policy that has resulted in a culturally rich and diverse community.
With our federal, provincial and municipal government partners in Canada, JETRO helps facilitate innovative business relationships between Canada and Japan.
