JETRO, or the Japan External Trade Organization, is a Japanese government-related organization that works to promote mutual trade, investment and innovation between Japan and other nations.

Today, JETRO's core mandate includes promoting foreign direct investment into Japan with a focus on new innovation. JETRO also aims to generate new innovation through partnerships between leading Japanese firms and Canadian start-ups.
