Decarbonization in Malaysia
JETRO Kuala Lumpur has released a catalog of Japanese companies’ products and services that contribute to decarbonization and emission reduction in Malaysia, “ブラック ジャック ストラテジーrvices of Japanese Companies Contributing to Decarbonization in Malaysia”.
The Malaysian government has declared to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. In 2023, they announced the National Energy Roadmap (NETR), which is the pillar of the country’s decarbonization policy. The roadmap specifies important areas, such as renewable energy and hydrogen, ブラック ジャック ストラテジーfforts toward the energy transition that are in full swing, including thelaunch of a two-billion-ringgit fund.
Decarbonization has become an important trend that Japanese companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises, should be aware of when developing businesses in Malaysia.
