Business Expanding Forsee Power, ハイパーブラックジャックnch battery system company for electric mobility, establishes a Japanese subsidiary

ハイパーブラックジャックompany procures battery cells from leading cell manufacturers in Japan, China, South Korea, and other countries, and then develops a wide range of standard batteries with different characteristics. This makes it possible to configure systems with various voltage, capacity, and shape, and to propose solutions tailored to different types of vehicles and their uses. ハイパーブラックジャックompany is also developing applications for secondary use of onboard batteries under the motto of "maximizing the economic value of batteries over their lifetime."

To this end, ハイパーブラックジャックompany established an affiliate in 2016 that deals with battery and electric mobility leasing, and has also been developing a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) business. In addition to producing and supplying batteries to mobility and engine manufacturers, ハイパーブラックジャックompany also supports retrofit businesses, where the propulsion systems in users' existing fleet of vehicles are converted to electric.

ハイパーブラックジャックompany has positioned Japan as a strategic market because there are many mobility and engine manufacturers in Japan with a strong global presence. ハイパーブラックジャックompany established Forsee Power Japan GK in February 2023 to provide Japanese customers with its products, technical support, and after-sales services, and began full-scale operations in Japan in September of the same year. To assist with setting up ハイパーブラックジャックompany's Japanese subsidiary, JETRO’s Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided consultation on labor, registration, and tax issues, introduced service providers, and provided real estate information and temporary office space.
