[Event Report] トランプ ゲーム ブラック ジャックpens, Japan's Largest Innovation Hub

Aichi Prefecture and its capital Nagoya comprise a major manufacturing center in Japan. On November 1, 2024, a new open innovation hub, トランプ ゲーム ブラック ジャック, opened here, attracting attention across all of Japan. As the largest startup support facility in Japan, it will provide a range of services in creating and incubating startup companies and promoting open innovation.

Aichi Prefecture is also a member of the Central Japan Startup Ecosystem Consortium supporting the priority fields of mobility, AI and digital solutions, healthcare, agriculture and more. Aichi works with related stakeholders on diverse projects, and also collaborates with startup support organizations from overseas.

When asked how STATION Ai will provide particular benefit from Nagoya, Assistant Director of the Startup Division, Bureau of Economy and Industry, Aichi Prefectural Government, Makoto Kanemaru details, "The greatest advantage to Aichi and Nagoya's startup ecosystem is its concentration of world-leading manufacturing companies, especially in the mobility sector. トランプ ゲーム ブラック ジャックffers great potential for international startups to achieve high-value open innovation through collaboration with the manufacturing industry."

トランプ ゲーム ブラック ジャック is a seven-floor facility covering more than 23,000 square meters. Floors 3 through 6 are dedicated to offices, while the hub also includes accommodation facilities and public use spaces. The building floors are all connected by gentle slopes, promoting collaboration and communication. More than 500 Japanese and international startups, alongside around 200 partner companies, supporting organizations and universities have converged at トランプ ゲーム ブラック ジャック to create new business.

URBANCHAIN, a mobility startup, has found a home at トランプ ゲーム ブラック ジャック, and Tomoki Arima, its Business Development Associate, shared his first impressions: "They've been great actually. They have a really strong relationship with the huge companies like Toyota. Why we're based in Nagoya is first, the geographical benefit. Its location is central, so easier access to Tokyo and Osaka."

The Japanese government is supporting the foundation of startup companies through the creation of startup ecosystems. This idea began in 2019* with different strategies for startup ecosystems across eight areas in Japan to support new companies through industry-government-academia collaboration.

Speaking to the bright future ahead, Benjamin Tee, Vice President of NUS Enterprise notes, "There's a very strong talent pool here and also probably a higher risk-taking appetite.
