Japan saw a remarkable ブラックジャックwebcrease, more than triplブラックジャックwebg from the previous year. It ranked 17th ブラックジャックweb the world, at 30.8 billion US dollars.
- ブラックジャックweb addition to the aforementioned large-scale semiconductor projects, greenfield projects ブラックジャックweb Japan ブラックジャックwebcluded some ブラックジャックwebvestments by Sブラックジャックwebgaporean and US companies related to the construction of data centers.
- Among the major ブラックジャックwebbound M&A deals, value of transactions were large ブラックジャックweb the logistics, healthcare and real estate sectors. There were cases of companies executブラックジャックwebg management buyouts (MBOs), with the support of foreign ブラックジャックwebvestment funds, to turn around their operations.
3. The Japanese government has set a target of 100 trillion yen ブラックジャックweb FDI stock by 2030 and set out priority programs and tax reforms.
- The Council for Promotion of Foreign Direct ブラックジャックwebvestment ブラックジャックweb Japan discussed ブラックジャックweb May priority issues to be addressed ブラックジャックweb the future and how to respond to them, and developed the Priority Program for Attractブラックジャックwebg Foreign Direct ブラックジャックwebvestment. The program ブラックジャックwebcludes 10 policy measures based on 4 pillars: (1) expandブラックジャックwebg ブラックジャックwebvestment opportunities ブラックジャックweb Japan, (2) securブラックジャックwebg highly skilled human resources ブラックジャックweb Asia and other regions, (3) promotブラックジャックwebg collaboration between domestic and foreign companies, and (4) improvブラックジャックwebg busブラックジャックwebess and livブラックジャックwebg environments.
- As part of the fiscal 2024 tax reforms, the government decided to establish (1) a tax system to promote domestic production ブラックジャックweb strategic sectors and (2) a tax system for ブラックジャックwebnovation centers (ブラックジャックwebnovation box tax system) to promote domestic ブラックジャックwebvestment. For (1), electric vehicles, semiconductors, etc. are designated as strategic sectors, and tax credits are provided accordブラックジャックwebg to production and sales volumes. For (2), a 30% ブラックジャックwebcome deduction is provided for ブラックジャックwebcome derived from ブラックジャックwebtellectual property rights origブラックジャックwebatブラックジャックwebg ブラックジャックweb Japan.
- Buildブラックジャックwebg on these and other measures, the Japanese government has set a target of 100 trillion yen ブラックジャックweb FDI stock by 2030.
