We developed a system that grades beef by analyzing images of the incision surface. By analyzing the accumulated carcass data, the meat quality which varies depending on the type of cattle and the environment can be visualized, so this is useful for various purposes, such as improving breeding.

Currently, we're seeking to boost our staffing for two positions. The first is a sales position that targets overseas customers. The goal is not just to sell the system but to explain the system's significance and reasoning to the customer as to why it was developed and to increase the number of people who share our thoughts and ideas. We prefer candidates who majored in livestock science at university or graduate school or whose family runs a beef cattle farming business. The second is a systems development position. New hires will be asked to develop data analysis systems, etc., so we would prefer someone with extensive knowledge of IT, AI, and software-related topics. In addition, those with AI development experience in Python are welcome to apply.

The language proficiency requirement is the same for both positions: N1 Japanese and business-level English. We welcome Spanish and German speakers as well.

We are a venture company originating from Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, with an office on the university campus. We developed a system that involves analyzing images from a special device that photographs cross-sections of beef carcasses in order to evaluate meat quality. Automating this work, which used to be performed visually by specialists, has led to labor savings and stable quality evaluations.

After developing the world's first compact and lightweight carcass imaging camera, we sold it in Japan and overseas. The data accumulated from around the world is analyzed. This collected data effectively contributes to proper evaluations and breeding improvement. We use that data to help provide beef that meets consumer preferences.

As of 2022, 80% of orders are received from overseas, with distributors in the United States, Australia, Germany, and Uruguay. In Australia, it is certified by a meat grading organization, and more than 20 systems are already in place in the United States. We also receive many inquiries from the U.K., Mexico, Spain, and other countries.

We will establish this objective evaluation method as the international standard in order to increase competitive beef exports, and we will contribute to the revitalization of the livestock industry.
