Ken has a broad design and construction background that includes specific expertise in high performance building design, such as central utility plants, campus distribution systems, under-floor air distribution, chilled beams, geothermal and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems.<\/p>\n<p>Ken is the former president of the local ASHRAE Chapter where in 2011 he was awarded the \u201cBest Chapter President in Society Region IX\u201d. In 2008, Ken was named one of the \u201cTop 20 Under 40\u201d by Engineering News Record, and his mechanical designs for the Denver Department of Human Services East side building and RTD\u2019s Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility have both won local and national awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado.
