We have been conducting R&D of towers for turbine with a total of 130 million yen commissioned and subsidized by NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) through joint research (Aikawa Ironworks, Inc. and JAXA). And plan to conduct field tests (TRL5) from FY2023. In the field test, a new 50-meter structure will be inserted into the base of a 2MW-class wind turbine to improve the operating rate by up to 15%. The unique patented structure will achieve this at low cost and reduce LCOE by 5%.
