JETRO staff member Naoe Ryotaro from the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and Food Department recently appeared in a video on the agriculture ministry’s official YouTube channel “BUZZ MAFF.” Videos on this YouTube channel are planned and produced by agriculture ministry officials. Ministry officials also make appearances on the channel, which has approximately 2.8 million views annually and about 170,000 subscribers. On this occasion, the Ministry collaborated with JETRO on a video.

In the video, Mr. Matsuzawa from the ministry's Public Relations Office and Mr. Naoe from JETRO had a talk about Japanese agricultural, forestry, and fishery products that are well received overseas. They took up ice as an example of a surprisingly popular product. They demonstrated the advantages of the ice sold overseas by comparing it with ice that Mr. Matsuzawa himself made at home.

JETRO will continue to leverage a diverse range of media such as video platforms and social media to provide information on international business and its importance, and work towards furthering the development of international business.
