We are a first-class architectural firm based in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. In 2016, we also established an office in Shanghai, China. In recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of requests from Chinese people in Japan and in China.

In order to properly understand and give shape to the thoughts of these Chinese customers, we are looking for people with native Chinese language skills. We prefer applicants who have majored in architecture or design at university. In addition, all business negotiations and internal communications with Japanese customers and vendors are conducted in Japanese, so JLPT N1-level Japanese proficiency is required.

After joining, new hires learn the business through on-the-job training in architectural design and construction supervision. This is a rewarding workplace where people can gain a wide range of knowledge and experience because they can talk directly with customers and take charge of the entire process, from design to construction supervision and to completion. Eventually, we want new hires to be able to do everything, from design to completion, on their own.

New hires will work at an office in Sendai City. If they would like to work at our Shanghai office in the future, we can provide such a career path after consultation.

We are a design firm established by Takafumi Homma, a first-class architect. The most-important thing for us is to build according to "how our customers want to live," not "what kind of house they want to live in." Based on this belief, we have consistently tried to build from the standpoint of the customer.

We offer proposals that will please customers, such as the "wooden skeleton infill construction method," which increases the degree of freedom in anticipating future renovations from the time of new construction, and the "construction management" method, under which the builder places orders directly with the contractor to reduce opaque costs such as fees incurred by subcontractors and sub-subcontractors.

We opened our Shanghai office in 2016. Takafumi Homma, who is also the president of the company, has appeared nine times on the popular Chinese remodeling program "Dream Home" and has received a great response from both inside and outside China. Currently, we are receiving an increasing number of orders from overseas, especially from China. While applying the delicate sensibilities unique to those in Japan, we approach architecture by thoroughly exploring the local culture, needs, and thoughts of our clients, which is the same attitude that we apply to our projects in Japan.
