In 1986, joined Nippondenso Co., Ltd. (now DENSO Corporation) and was in charge of projects related to space equipment R&D, CAE, model-based development, EMC, vehicle diagnosis, etc. From 2017 to 2020, Vice President of Silicon Valley Innovation Center. Starting 2018, held dual roles, including General Manager of Innovation Promotion Division of DENSO China Investment Co. Ltd. Returned to the Head Office in July 2020. Opened "SUZUKI MANJI OFFICE" in January 2021.

In 2011, Joseph began working at a mold manufacturer in Aichi Prefecture, engaging in the production of mass-produced parts. In 2016, relocated to the United States and was involved in establishing a prototype parts manufacturer’s office in Silicon Valley. Joined Canon’s Silicon Valley branch in 2018, and also took on the role of technical consultant for Monozukuri Ventures on the West Coast, supporting a wide range of startups. Returned to Japan in 2020 and supported the entry of several foreign startups into the Japanese market, assuming his current position in 2022.
