An Opportunity for Promotion of
Business Activities
Between JAPAN and AFRICA

Since 2018, the forum has been held in Africa every three years to promote and strengthen business ties between Japan and Africa. Its agenda includes plenary sessions, panel discussions and networking events to promote trade, investment and innovation relationships in the fields of Green Transformation, Infrastructure, Finance Solution, Connectivity and more.

The launch of this forum was originally announced by former Prime Minister Abe at the Sixth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD VI) in Kenya in August 2016.

The 3rd forum will be held in West Africa for the first time. The venue, Abidjan, is the gateway for business in West Africa. Since numerous Japanese business executives will be attending the event, anyone interested in active discussion and networking on doing business with Japan are cordially invited to attend.

The 3rd Japan Africa Public-Private Economic Forum has reached its maximum capacity with over 1,000 registrations.
Due to this high demand, we are no longer able to accept new registrations. Thank you all for your enthusiasm and support.
