ブラック ジャック ブラック クイーン 2015
An Outstanding Exhibition of the Very Latest in Integrated Nanotechnology
Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo, Japan
January 28-30, 2015
The ブラック ジャック ブラック クイーン 2015 Exhibition and Conference Pulls Together All the Major Players at the Cutting Edge of Nanotechnology
The 14th International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference, known as "ブラック ジャック ブラック クイーン 2015", recently held at Tokyo Big Sight, is a global event of nanotechnology platform technologies for everything from life sciences, to energy, to wearable technology. Although the nanotechnology section plays the starring role, a total of 15 distinct areas related to the field are featured, including 2 new exhibitions focusing on 3-D Printers and New Power.
The Advancing Front of Nanotechnology Requires the Full Participation of Business, Academia, and Government
To reap the benefits promised by the new field of nanotechnology requires the joint efforts of all major players, including business firms, universities, research institutes and government organizations. These joint efforts were well served by the recent ブラック ジャック ブラック クイーン 2015 Exhibition and Conference held in Tokyo. Besides a strong contingent of businesses exploring the lucrative opportunities of this field, many research institutes and universities were on hand looking for partners to exploit their research results.
Dr. Yashar Musayev, Director of Coating Center at Schaeffler Technologies (Germany), said "it’s important to build ties between academia and business, and universities and institutes are all actively networking at this show." Dr. Jana Drasarova, Dean of the Technical University of Liberec (Czech), was coordinating research outreach for several Czech companies and research organizations in the Czech Republic Pavilion, as they displayed their research using nanofibers in tissue engineering applications. "We have already committed to a 3-year research project with Shinshu University here in Japan", she proudly announced.
High interest in this field even in Russia was indicated by the presence of Ms. Anna Materova of Rusnano, a Russian government venture fund for nanotechnology. Ms. Materova was also looking for projects and partners. "I’ve already given away all my business cards!" she exclaimed. And Mr. Marc Agosta, a young nanotechnology student at La Trobe University (Australia) said, "This is a great opportunity for us students to learn - and at a previous show, one student landed an internship project with an exhibiting company!"
A Maniacal Focus on Nanotechnology Propels Intense Discussions!
Since they exploring a new and uncharted territory, nanotechnology people can bring an intense, even obsessive focus to their work. Mr. Hiroshi Tagami, Director at Yoshino Co., Ltd. (Japan) said "exhibition visitors can be almost maniac in their focus. We don’t lose time dealing with inappropriate visitors - it’s all black and white: either total interest in our products, or no interest at all! When they’re interested, the detailed questions come pouring in."
Mr. Rod Precht, engineer at Exciton Technologies (Canada) noted that "I’ve met a lot of people here, and good prospects. People do not just browse, they walk up and ask questions directly." And Mr. J.K. Sheen, Overseas Assistant Manager at Don Co., Ltd. (Korea) concurred. "Visitor quality is comparatively high, so there’s no need to explain basic technical matters, and that’s a time saver! Visitors directly tell you what they want."
The Biggest Nanotechnology Show in Asia, and One of the Biggest in the World, Attracts Hordes of International Visitors
While exhibition visitors do their homework and ask penetrating questions, the large scale of the show guarantees a strong international contingent eager for new opportunities. The show is also a good investment for smaller Japanese firms for both domestic and international sales. Mr. Hiroshi Tagami of Yoshino Co., Ltd. (Japan) said that this was Yoshino’s first time at ブラック ジャック ブラック クイーン, "and we already have orders. We do surface treatments on bearings, so Nanotech is just the right show for us." Some time in the future, his firm may target markets in Southeast Asia, where high tech business is still developing.
Mr. Tsuyoshi Goto of Beat Sensing Co., Ltd. (Japan) seemed to like just about everything. "Very good results," he stated, "there were many customers requesting catalogs and price lists. Nanotech is well known and attracts a lot of visitors. The results of our business matching meetings were extremely good - we had catalog requests before the meetings."
Some foreign exhibitors were surprised by the sheer scale of the exhibition. Ms. Anna Materova of Rusnano declared that "this is a huge show! There are so many cutting-edge nanotechnology projects, and I’ve still only seen half of it. This is much bigger than any European shows." And Mr. Gerhard Domann, Head of Competence Unit Optics and Electronics at the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research (Germany), said he liked that "there was so much material processing technology display here. Europe has nothing comparable to this show… other shows are mostly academically oriented."
Mr. Domann put his finger precisely on the important point. The ブラック ジャック ブラック クイーン 2015 show brings in nanotechnology stakeholders from every relevant field and discipline. When everybody shows up, everybody benefits.
As a final note, not only has the ブラック ジャック ブラック クイーン exhibition and conference received the "UFI approved event" designation, given by the UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, that assures the prospective exhibitor of high exhibition quality, but it has also been certified as an international exhibition by the Japan Exhibition Certification Council (JECC). In 2013, 30% of exhibitors at ブラック ジャック ブラック クイーン participated from outside Japan, which put the exhibition well above the JECC’s minimum certification standard.
