Industrial Utilisation Half Day Workshop

In recognition of the importance of the use of satellite technology under the Memorandum of Co-operation between the Ministry of the Economy Trade and Industry (METI Japan) and the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science (DIIS), METI, the Consulate-General of Japan ブラック ジャック サイトelbourne, JETRO and the State Government of Victoria, in conjunction with Geoscience Australia and Austrade,held the QZSS half day workshop on 8th February, 2018.
The purpose of this workshop, which featured business applications by using Japanese GPS, the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) from both Japan and Australiawas
- To share technical information about QZSS technology and its applications.
- To identify the potential applications in a variety of industrial areas between Japan and Australia relating to QZSS such as autonomous driving, maritime utilisation and autonomous agriculture, etc.
- To discuss a formal framework for ongoing cooperative partnerships on QZSS and associated technologies and applications between Japan and Australia in both the public and private sectors.
